Inspired by Slipknot's heavy and visceral aesthetic, the goal was to subvert their more masculine lean and express their deeply painful and cathartic messaging through a more feminine, delicate visual language. Heavily inspired by Victorian era medical illustrations and depictions of "Venus" during this time.
